A sad post on Mark Zuckerberg's social media page: his beloved white Puli has closed his eyes forever.
Zuckerberg, the co-founder and CEO of Facebook - now Meta Platforms - said his final farewell to his favourite, Beast, on social media on Monday 30 June.
The dog was known and loved all over the world, and he and his owner did much to make the Hungarian breed widely known.
The charming, shaggy little dog stole his owner's heart at first sight. He joined the Zuckerbergs in 2011, and from then on, the dog has been posting about his daily life on his own social media page and on Zuckerberg's private profile.
Beast's 9th birthday:
Beast, pedigree name Pannonia Palko, was born in Oregon (USA), in the Pannonia Puli Kennel, his parents, Joli and Imrus are imported dogs from the Kalácsos Kennel in Ercsi, so Beast was born with 100% Hungarian blood.
It was Beast who brought Zuckerberg to Hungary in 2013 to visit the Ludas Matyi poodle farm.
After a haircut:
In time, the family expanded to include two daughters, Maxima and Augusta Chan Zuckerberg, who also chose Beast as their best four-legged friend. The famous poodle also regularly attended his owners' business trips and official meetings, making him truly inseparable from his owners.
Rest in peace, Beast!
