While it’s a cute sight at first (and second) glance to see a Newfoundland flopping on a cupboard, it’s worth mentioning why it’s not the safest place to relax.

Our pet can be involved in accidents in many places around the home. One of these is any high place from where they can fall. The most typical hazard is a staircase leading down from a floor. Especially if they are elderly or with a musculoskeletal disorder or a disabled dog. But it is possible to fall from the back of a sofa or, in this case, the kitchen counter. For this reason, we advise you to be cautious and to prevent trouble, teach your four-legged friend not to endulge such habits.
