Coyotes are greedy predators and incredibly skilled hunters. They literally pounce on anything that moves, often causing significant damage to people. For this reason, they are culled, but they are extremely adaptable and cunning, frequently causing trouble in cities across the United States.

One morning, Timothy Snipe let his dog out into the yard and followed along, wearing only slippers and a robe. Roxy, his Chihuahua, suddenly ran out the gate shortly afterward. As the dog returned, a coyote was right on her heels. The man tried to chase the uninvited guest away, but it attacked back. He certainly didn't lack courage when he grabbed the predator by its tail and tossed it into a garbage bin in the yard, waiting for animal control to arrive.

The little dog, of course, barked angrily the whole time, making sure everyone knew she was also a real tough one. Since then, Roxy has been wearing a special vest when she goes outside. It is equipped with large spikes, ensuring that coyotes will flee just at the sight of her.
