Thanks to quick assistance, the little ones were given a chance at life.
Newborn fox cubs were found in the courtyard of a house in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, presumably abandoned by their mother. The little ones were taken in by the Fema Animal Rescuers, and news of their well-being was shared on their Facebook page. Fortunately, the little ones are doing well, and they have already successfully mastered the art of feeding from a bottle.
The interesting thing about the uploaded videos is that many thought they were seeing puppies in the footage. For a layperson, it's often difficult to tell exactly what species of animal one is dealing with when it comes to a newborn. This is why we've heard countless cases of well-meaning animal lovers taking in an orphaned animal, only to later find out it's actually a wild creature.
To avoid this and, of course, to ensure the health of the cubs, it's essential that if we find orphaned babies, we take them to a veterinarian as soon as possible. Experienced eyes can quickly spot if something is amiss, so if you manage to rescue a wild animal, they can be placed in expert hands as soon as possible.
